Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu announced that 24 people were detained in 5 provinces based on Tekirdağ.
Minister Soylu, in his statement on social media, stated that "In a simultaneous operation we carried out today in 5 provinces based on Tekirdağ, a total of 24 people were detained including the close protection of terrorist boss Duran Kalkan, codenamed Abbas, and the person who was also a ballot-box inspector for the Green Left Party on May 14th. Congratulations to our Counter-Terrorism Directorate, the Tekirdağ Republic Prosecutor's Office, our Provincial Security Directorates, and our Valiant Officers."
